Those who have warned us about the kinds of people who seek for power knew what they were talking about. We ought to have listened to them more carefully and if we did not before, we most definitely should start listening now. It may already be to late to heed their calls seriously. But either way, we should not be at all shocked when we see the extent to which those who would have power are willing to go.
Christian, never allow your lack of ability to relate give rise to an inability or unwillingness to see.

Just as before, entire groups of people are lumped into categories and judged according to the errant ideology of those who insist they are doing the right thing for society and mankind. And, just as before, the supposed complicity of everyone in the group coupled with the severity of the offenses justifies the use of objectionable means to reach a desired end. When it comes to identity politics, it is never the gifts that change, only the wrapping.

It doesn’t take much imagination to understand just how maddening it must have been. After all, what was all the training, study and discipline worth if any old carpenter from the backside of nowhere could just waltz in and turn everything upside down? Who did they think this fool must have thought He was?
